More Festival info:
- Bring a blanket or chair to sit on, sunscreen, and a hat if you wear hats! Preferably a hat with an arrow through it for watching Steve Martin…
- Drink lots of water! Bring a refillable bottle to stay hydrated all day.
- Smoking is permitted in the designated smoking area only, NOT in the festival audience. No exceptions.
- We’ll have great Owensboro restaurants featuring all-new, exciting menus. Featured restaurants are Famous Bistro, The Miller House, Moonlite Barbeque and Colby’s. There’s a vegan/vegetarian concessionaire coming from Asheville, North Carolina. Also Starbucks, lemonade, kettle corn, roasted ears of corn, roasted nuts, ice cream.
- Parking space will be at a premium, so carpooling is encouraged whenever possible.
- Bring a flashlight for getting back to your car or campsite late at night.
- We’ll have golf carts to assist people with physical handicaps to and from their seats.
- After-Parties will light up the Pioneer Village every night after the Main Stage closes, so plan on 3 all-nighters in a row! If you’re a musician, bring your instrument and jam. Musicians are coming from all over.
- CAMPING: If you’ve already purchased a ticket but haven’t told us you’re camping, please call 270-926-7891 and let us know asap.
- You’ll be given a campsite upon arrival. This is on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you want to camp beside friends, get together on this and let us know how many spots in a row you’re going to need. Call the museum at 270-926-7891. We’ll do what we can to accommodate your party.
- Only campers with 3-day passes purchased before the festival begins will be guaranteed a reserved camping spot. These spots will be numbered and available on a first-come first-serve arrival basis to people who have made camping reservations by buying their tickets by June 22. Last minute (gate) campers will need to camp in unreserved areas.
- Cars will be with tents or RVs – you’ll be able to drive to your campsite.
- Open campfires are not allowed. Grills are fine.
- We’ll have some camp shower tents (no hot water) and there’ll be plenty of porta-potties, plus some indoor facilities as well.
- This is a rain or shine event. No refunds are issued.
- There’s a playground for children and a spray park, nature trails and a fishing lake (no swimming allowed), volleyball courts. The Frisbee golf course will not be open during the festival.
